Production Has Started! First Look At the Kickstarter Exclusive Token! Final Card Designs of the New Expansions!

It is the update time, guys. Let’s have a seat and get your snacks.
Production Has Started
Proofreading, game design, and art processes have been completed and the production has finally started. "The First Player Token" and "Mini Travel Bag" productions have already been completed. The manufacturing is continuing with the Base Game and the previous expansions. The new sets and boxes will join them in the following days. We are still working on the inner and outer designs of the boxes and we are excitedly waiting to share final product photos with you as soon as possible. Here is a look at the Kickstarter Exclusive token and Mini Travel Bag:
On one side there is a Kraken symbol and on the other side, there is the new Arvis Games logo. It is a massive token weighing almost 40 grams and we are absolutely in love with it. Mini Travel Bag is a good old Travel Bag but it was produced by Mon Jeu and they made a magnificent job. How do you like it? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
We are hoping to finish the manufacturing at the end of August and then we are going to start the distribution of the game to the fulfillment centers all around the world.
Final Card Designs
Wild Hunt Expansion Pack
We used the Kraken coin design on the card back of Wild Hunt Expansion, as well. We thought that it looks really badass. "Alpha Warg" is a boss creature. As you can see there is the health point on the top left corner and the attack value at the top right corner. While this creature is in play, all other creature Discards +1 resources. When a player kills it, that player gets the reward that writes at the bottom. "Alpha Warg" grants a permanent effect that protects the player from creature special abilities. "Rageclaw" is a normal creature. It has fewer health points and fewer damage points.
Missions Expansion Pack
Here is the Missions card back, "Masterplan" Mission Card, and "Raider" Trait Card. Card back is like a mission letter that includes a map of the Island. When a player draws a Mission card, it remains hidden from other players. When that player manages to complete the goal, it reveals it to other players and receives a reward and Victory Points. The first player who reaches 10 points, wins the game. You can see the goal and reward of the "Masterplan" and the Victory points indicated at the top right corner. "Raider" is a treat card that gives a bonus and a penalty to the player who draws this card.
Zombies Expansion Pack
Zombies come in different varieties. Each zombie must draw an Apparel and a Modification card that adds different abilities to the zombie itself. Zombie health points and attack values can be seen at the bottom of the "Screamer" card. "Screamer" also has a very strong ability. "Pilot" Apparel allows Screamer to attack immediately and "Pathogenic" has an impactful effect that moves all the zombies in front of the current player. When this zombie is killed, the player chooses to receive the reward of the Apparel or the Modification.
Skills 2 Expansion Pack
There she is! Mad Scientist has returned! She brought a "Paradox Generator I" that improves the resource phase. It seems that she will keep upgrading this device. The Skills card designs will be similar to the previous Skills Expansion.
Secret Weapons Expansion Pack
Secret Weapons have our favorite card back ever. We are truly in love with this back. Secret Weapons Expansion is the Kickstarter Exclusive pack and only you will be getting this card back. Some of the Secret Weapons Items are chargeable. You will need Power Cells to charge these items and its charge will be consumed each time you use the items. We have put charge levels on the right side of the cards. So it will be easier to keep the track of the charge of the item.

Survey Reminder and Latest News of Production! New Arvis Games Logo!

Hello Mighty Survivors,
We hope you all are doing well and fine. On our side, we are getting excited about getting closer to the production. Let’s take a look at the latest news.
Survey Reminder
As you know, the Pledge Manager survey is out for a couple of weeks and 85% of you already filled the survey. This is a reminder that we are going to lock the orders and charge cards on the 4th of July.
Please fill your survey before this date. If you haven’t received the survey, please reach out to us through comments or messages. We can gladly help you to find your survey.
About charging the cards, if BackerKit can’t charge your cards on the 4th of July, we are going to keep trying periodically. If you have a special situation you can let us know again.
After we lock the orders, you won’t be able to edit your orders but you will still be able to edit your shipment addresses. Please keep your addresses updated or let us know when you want to change your address.
Production
- Proofreading: The proofreading process of the cards and rulebooks has started and it’s going pretty well. This time we are working with a professional team for proofreading. All the rulebooks have been updated in the meantime to become much more understandable and we are aiming to deliver these sets without any grammatical errors.
- Game Design: We are keeping testing the new sets and their combinations with previous expansions. The cards are nearly finalized but there are still some minor balance issues with certain sets. We are close to solving them all.
- Art: All the card and box arts have finished and we can assure you they look AMAZING. We are going to start sharing them on our social media channels. Keep following and stay tuned.
- Graphic Design: As the proofreading and game design progresses, the card designs are started to finalize.
- Manufacturing: The Manufacturing of the Base Game is starting next week. As the readiest sets, we have decided to start the manufacturing with the Base Game and previous expansions. The new sets and boxes will join them in the following weeks.
Arvis Games Have A New Logo
Arvis is one of the first spellings of magic in known history. And we are aiming to create magical experiences for you through well-designed and well-crafted games.
As we become much more known among you, we have decided to create a more magical and epic logo for Arvis Games. From now on, you will be seeing this logo on the boxes and all the contents. We hope you’ll like it. Please share your thoughts with us.

Survey is Out! Production Moves to Turkey, Development Update and Final Checks!

Hello Mighty Survivors,
We hope you are all well and fine. There is some big news, some small ones, and some amazing improvements. We have been working hard to make everything on track, we are so excited to share with you, let’s begin!
THE SURVEY IS OUT!
The survey that we all have been waiting for is ready and out! We have been trying to ensure the best prices and services for our backers all around the world. As we did in the previous campaign, fulfillments will be handled from several warehouses all around the world to make shipments faster.
We will be shipping from 1 UK, 1 EU, 1 US, 1 Canada, 1 Turkey, 1 Australia, and 1 Asia warehouse to ensure the highest level of customs compliance. In the previous campaign, the UK fulfillment was handled from the EU warehouse, but we will be using a UK warehouse for the fulfillment this time. Asia and Australia shipments will be operated by VFI and Aetherworks while other regions operated by us.
Also, in the meantime, we learned that container shipment prices increased astronomically. However, we have decided not to reflect these costs and keep the shipping prices within the range of what is promised in the campaign.
The survey filing deadline is the 4th of July, please complete it by then, so that we can start organizing deliveries and have the last quantities for the manufacturing. The late pledge will be available until the survey end, as well. Please check your email related to the Kickstarter account. If you have any inquiries please contact us at [email protected]

Upgrade Your Pledge
If you want to increase your pledge, now is the time. Besides upgrading your pledge, you will be able to add new pledges and add-ons to your order, as well.
BEWARE: “Returning Survivor” Pledge does not include the essential Base Game of Board Royale. We noticed that some of our new backers backed the “Returning Survivor” pledge accidentally. If you are new to the Island and don’t own the Board Royale Base game, you must increase your pledge to the “New Survivor” or higher level to be able to play the game.
Don’t Forget to Get Your Sleeves
In the Pledge Manager, you will be able to get sleeve packages that suit your pledge. The sleeve thickness will be 100 microns as manufacturing experts suggested and they will have a clear design without any logo or branding.
PRODUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT UPDATES
Production Moves to Turkey
After the campaign ends, we started to get samples from different manufacturing companies all around the world and compare them for the best quality product possible. Today, we are thrilled to announce that we are going to work with MON JEU.
Here are the 3 major reasons for this decision:
- Quality: We have been receiving great feedback from the players about the product quality. With this feedback, we have started a constant search of finding the best quality product possible for the second print. We examined the samples from different manufacturers all around the world. MON JEU offered us Canadian Black Core 310 gsm quality cards and great product quality for each item. These improvements increase the manufacturing costs but this is important for us to maintain the best product quality we are looking for.
- Control over the Production Process: Oversea production turns quality assurance into a long and hard process. In the first campaign, sampling and approval periods were too long to finish the project in time. Some of our team reside in Turkey and working with a manufacturing company that is situated in the same city will make quality assurance much easier and faster for us. We will be able to constantly interact with the manufacturing and have control over them. Also, we will be able to show the production phases to you firsthand.
- Speed and Logistics: For this campaign, we are waiting for a much shorter production phase due to being able to interact with the manufacturer constantly.
In the light of these developments, we are proud to announce that we believe that we will be able to finish the fulfillment earlier than we anticipated during the campaign. For example, European shipments will be finished nearly a week after the manufacturing ends because we are going to ship them from Turkey.
We are so happy to share this great news with you. We learned so many things and experienced on manufacturing and logistics since the previous campaign. We believe this fulfillment phase will be much more smooth and impeccable than the previous. We will keep you updated in the following weeks step by step.

Proofreading the Rulebooks
Writing a rulebook is not an easy task. Writing a rulebook for 9 expansions, on the other hand, is like playing Dark Souls with keyboard and mouse controls while standing upside down. So we need your help proofreading the rulebooks and a second eye will be always helpful. We will much appreciate and give special thanks to those who can contribute to us.

-Choose a rulebook or several rulebooks and comment on your feedback on the file. Typos, grammar errors, and unclear explanations. We are waiting for each kind of suggestion from you to make these rulebooks the best in the world.
Playtesting the New Expansions
We have started the public tests of the new expansions on our Discord Channel.
We have to finalize the cards before the manufacturing starts so we need your help and valuable opinions to improve the game experience and the balance.
-For playtesting, you will need “Tabletop Simulator”. If you own that’s great, if you don’t you can get it on Steam.

-Download “Save File”
-Copy “Save File” into the Tabletop Simulator Local Files > Saves
-Open TTS and you will find the save file while you are creating a game.
Disclaimer: These versions of cards are for testing and they don’t include the final card designs and arts. Also, we will keep updating the cards and sharing new versions with you constantly on this channel. Please keep your games updated when testing.

How to Create or Join a Test Session
-If you want to create your test event, go to the #🏹┊looking-for-survivors Channel on our Discord.
-Set a time for when you want to play it. We have a new bot to create events on the channel and you will need to use these commands to create a new test event.
Command to create an event: !create [The Pack(s) you want to test] at [Time] on [Day]
-You have created a test event that suits your time zone. Now, you need attendees to join your test session. You can call your friends or find people on Discord that want to join a test session. If someone wants to attend your game session they can click the green tick below of the event. Everyone who marked themselves as attendees will be notified when the time comes. Please join the game sessions that you marked yourselves.
-If you don’t want to create an event yourself, you can check out other game sessions to join. Again, if you want to join a test session click the green tick below of the event and mark yourself as an attendee.
-When you are playing, please play it on one of the Island voice channels, and please at least one of the players share your screen. So we can join to watch your game sessions, answer your questions and get your feedback. We will always be around here and checking out the test events.
