Hello Mighty Survivors,
We hope everybody is doing well all around the world. We want to begin with sending our support and love to the Ukranian people who are undergoing an attack to their independence and democratic institutions. We hope this war ends now.
Sorry for our silence last few weeks, we have been working on preparing a detailed update for you that is full of new images, videos, and detailed news about the shipping.

All Components Complete, Working On The Final Boxes!
Finally, the production of all the editions, expansion packs, items, and cards has been completed. It has been a much much slower process than we anticipated but in the end we are very satisfied with the final products, we hope you all will be as well.
In the latest update, we let you know that the production of the expansion cards has been completed and the shrinking process is starting. C section of the base game cards was going to be printed, cut and shrunk as well. And at the end, all the editions, expansion packs were going to be boxed to be shipped.
We anticipated that these steps were going to finalize at the end of February. But all the manual work and assembly of machines took longer than we anticipated and we are 2 weeks behind that schedule. We apologize for these delays.
The printing, cutting and preparation of the base game C section has been completed. In the last couple of weeks, the manufacturing team has completed the shrinking and boxing of all the expansions. Starting on Wednesday, the manufacturing team will begin the assembly and boxing of all the editions.
We are anticipating that all the assembly and boxing will be finalized early next week and then we will begin the shipment process.
In the meantime, we already got some finished boxes in our hands and they look amazing. This whole production phase was tediously slow but in the end, we are already coming to the end and to see the final products in this amazing quality is so rewarding.

Unboxing Video and Final Products!
In the last week, we have been preparing an amazing unboxing video for the final products. This video includes the unboxing of Base Game, Returning Survivor Edition, Ultimate Survivor Edition, and Collector’s Edition.
Collector’s Edition is missing some elements in this video. For example, the Base Game cards will have their tuck boxes and you will receive a stamped and signed certificate and also 2 collectible cards from our first ever prototype. These are missing in this video but they will be included when you get them in your hands. Also, you can see the embossed number that shows which box is at the top of the cover. Collector’s Edition boxes are one of a kind product and they won’t be produced again in the future.

Shipment Details and When Will You Receive Your Rewards!
We have been talking about the option of sending your rewards directly from the manufacturer to you. We have been working on this option for a while and after some test shipments, we realized that this option can be a lot riskier and may cause even more delays as it is not their specialty to create individual shipping boxes with all different add-ons. All the individual orders were hard to come by as there are lots of different combinations of orders and also there was the possibility surprise custom taxes in some countries.
So we decided to work with our fulfillment partners all over the world. That is said we are still committed to use the air freight option for the US, Canada, Asia, and Australia to make this process as fast as possible. We will be using tracks for the EU and UK shipments as they are so close to Turkey and easy to reach. The fulfillment centers receiving the items and processing the shipments can take 1-2 weeks longer from our initially anticipated timeline but we feel it will be the right choice for you to receive your items complete and without the risk of customs.
In light of recent events, we will begin the assembly in the next week and hoping to begin shipping out all the bulk shipments to the local warehouses by mid-March.
For Europe and the UK, we will use truck shipments to local warehouse. From Turkey, it might take 1-2 weeks for the products to reach our fulfillment centers. After a receiving and preparation week, our fulfillment partner will begin the shipments as soon as possible. We anticipate that EU and UK countries will begin getting their rewards in mid-April.
For the US, Canada, Asia, and Australia we will be using air shipment. We skipped the sea freight option as it will take nearly 2 months to arrive. Air shipment will take a couple of days to arrive at airports. Then, we will transfer the products to the fulfillment centers via trucks. Again, after nearly a week of receiving and preparations, the fulfillment will begin as soon as possible. We believe that the US and Canada will start getting their rewards mid-April. Asia and Australia might be around May as we are not completely sure when will VFI be able to ship them out to their local hubs to prevent the customs.
The Rest of the World We are planning to send via DHL directly from our manufacturer to the rest of the world to prevent wait times. These countries will likely get their rewards around the end of March.
Collector’s Edition boxes will be sent via special packaging directly from our office to you. We will probably send Collector's Editions towards the end of the March.
We know that this wait has been eternally long for you as it felt for us too. We can't believe this campaign is taking even longer than our first campaign. We thought that the first campaign thought us so many things and we were much more experienced but every campaign is coming with lots of new challenges. During this campaign, we learned so many things about production and it was a very enlightening experience about the production processes that will help us in the future campaigns. We are deeply sorry about involving you in this undesirably slow process.
Hopefully once you receive your packs the wait will all be worth it. We are so excited for you to receive your packs and start having unforgettable experiences with your loved ones.

Production & Shipment Update! Last Call To Update Your Addresses!

What about trying to complete missions to gain victory points? Because the new and extended expansions of Board Royale are about to complete.
Let us share the latest news from the Island!
Production
In the latest update, we let you know that the expansion pack cards have been printed and the printed papers will be going through the lamination process to give them their great texture and keep them durable for years to come. After lamination, the cutting process of the cards was going to start.
We are happy to say that the lamination and cutting process for each expansion has been completed. Also, the cards have already been shrinked for the boxing process. The cards are looking amazing and we are so excited to share this news with you. Here you can check out the expansion card photos:
Now only the final part of Base Game cards are waiting to be printed. Then lamination and cutting will take part. We hope that it will be completed this weekend, as well. After that, we will begin the boxing process of the game in the next week. The boxing will begin with “Returning Survivor Pack” and we will keep finalizing each pack in the meantime. We will be sharing photos from the boxing process :) Stay tuned for them on our social media accounts.
We were hoping to be done with the production by now and start shipping out soon but last week, Istanbul experienced one of the biggest snow-storms for decades and it made it impossible for manufacturer to continue the production for more than a week.
It is a challenging process but it is great to be able to see it is moving forward consistently. We want to thank all of you that you were with us through this process and understood the issues we faced. That was the most important support we could get. Thank you, fellow Survivors!
Shipment
At the moment, we are hoping to begin the shipments in late February, as the boxes got ready for shipment.
We are still committed to use the door-to-door express option for the shipment if there is no last minute change in the terms. We won’t be able to send all the orders at the same time. It can be a week-long process for each order to be shipped. We will let you know about the shipment status as much as we can. We also decided that europe shipments are better off to come to a warehouse with a truck and distributed within Europe as it streamlines the customs process and it only takes 1 week for trucks to arrive at the destination in europe.
The backers will receive their tracking codes with an email that is sent to their Kickstarter e-mails as we shipped the packages.

Production Status, VAT & Service Fees Clearance

Hey there Mighty Survivors,
We hope the first weeks of 2022 started great for everyone.
Thanks for supporting us in the previous update and truly we appreciate your support for all journeys together that also pushes us forward to do best in time.
Even though there isn’t that much news since our last update, we want to keep you updated as often as possible, so here is a quick update about the state of our production.
PRODUCTION
In our last update we let you know about how we were planning to print out one side of the paper and let it dry out for one day and continue printing with the other side in order to prevent any kind of misalignment between front and back. The reason we are being extra cautious about this issue is because we simply cannot accept anything less than a perfect deck to deliver to you and simply we do not have any margin of error with misprint due to the lack of paper supply experienced all around the world. We needed this print to move forward with a perfect track record since our last update and thankfully it is going great!
With the feedback from our manufacturer we have decided to move our prints to a new machine that has the capability to dry out the paper immediately after the print using the UV lights. As an extra precaution we were advised to put the papers into a heating process and a consistency check before going into the final print to ensure non-stop production once started. This process took an extra week for our production because our papers were already cut and needed to be checked one by one but it is completed last week.
We have now completed the printing process of all new expansions and moving forward with the previous expansions and the 3rd deck of the base game. The result is perfect as expected!
Now the printed papers are going through the lamination process and will go into the cut and boxing process starting tomorrow. The expected speed of this process is to take 1 expansion per day.
It was a challenging process but finally we are seeing the end of the tunnel. Again, thanks for sticking up with us through this challenge and once again we truly apologize for the delays we have put you through. We want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to make it up to you.
We have received a couple of questions regarding the VAT and shipment fees. Even our manufacturer will directly send the packages, we will clear the customs and you will not be extra charged. We will be covering them all. Also, we already have registration in most of the regions we are shipping.
On the other hand, sometimes shipment companies can charge the receiver with some service fees. We are working for this not to reflect on you but if it happens you can reach out to us via [email protected]
SHIPMENTS & FULFILLMENT
As we mentioned in the previous update, we are still hoping to send out most of the shipments through express shipment. It would make the fulfillment process to finalize at a lightning speed and we want to accomplish this as a token of our gratitude for your patience. The limiting factor here is to be able to ship the goods with an agreed upon pricing or not. If the prices go up even higher than we agreed, we have to search for alternative ways.
Other than the express shipment options, we still have our partners all around the world and they are ready to ready for operation if we couldn't express if we need them.

Production Issues! Express Shipment Solution! Fulfillment Dates!

Hey there mighty survivors,
We have survived another year together and are looking forward to what the future lays ahead of us. Even though it was another challenging year for companies all around the world, we had some exciting developments on our side which makes us hopeful and excited for the upcoming year. We wish you and your families a fantastic new year.
Today, we will update you with the latest developments on our side. Before moving forward, we have to apologize for not making more frequent updates. The information we are receiving from our manufacturer is not very consistent and we are doing our best to open about you the issues we faced.
More Production Issues & Delays
In our previous update we have told you about some of our issues and how we overcame them and we were expecting for our manufacturing process to be done in the first half of December. Yet, our manufacturer encountered more problems and these have unfortunately added unexpected delays to our production.
We were planning to compensate for these delays by sending all Kickstarter orders directly through express shipment and keep our word to deliver the goods around the promised timeline on our last update. However, the latest news that we received from our manufacturer suggests that we are still almost 30 days away from shipping the goods to you.
We already have an express shipment deal for our Kickstarter shipments so we are expecting shipments to a huge majority part of the world will be within 1-2 weeks. But this is considering that we will be able to preserve the shipment costs the same as we agreed now. We have already agreed to pay a huge premium for express shipment but if prices increase more we simply cannot afford anymore.
We are extremely sorry and upset for these delays and we want you to know that we are doing our best to make it better.
What Happened?
Our base game now consists of 3 decks that have 80 cards in each of them totaling 240 cards. We are producing 8000 base games which in total makes 24000 decks.
The problem has occurred in the production of the 3rd decks. After printing all of the base game the manufacturer was getting ready for the cutting process when they realized a misorientation between front and the back of the cards that belong to the 3rd deck. This made the whole process stop for some time and check out the potential reasons for this issue.
All first and second deck cards are checked one by one in order to assure that there is no problem in the previous prints. And thankfully they are all clear.
After some investigation it is realized that it is not an issue caused by the printing files. One theory is that printing the front and back of the cards right after each other caused some expansion caused by the wetness of the paper and/or heat of the production.
A new printing method is being implemented as we write this update. First the front of the papers are printed and one day putting them to dry and cool down the back of the cars are printed.
This makes our manufacturing way slower but we have to be ensured that all our items are in perfect condition and we don’t have any tolerance to lose any more paper in this process during the immense supply chain shortages on paper.
Right now we are continuing with our expansion packs on our “Returning Survivor” pack so that we can complete the production of that item and start shipping these items as soon as they are ready.
In this trajectory, we are expecting all production to be finalized on 17th of january, and the boxing process is expected to be finalized on 28th of January.
On the other hand, except cards, all components are completed like boxes, trays, tuck boxes, trays, mini backpacks, Exclusive tokens. Each one of them is ready to be assembled and waiting to be packed except cards. To give some sneak peak;

So The Solution! We Are Looking For Express Shipment Options
As aforementioned, we are trying to compensate as an apology for this delay. So we are looking for express shipment options of DHL. In this option, the items will be shipped from the manufacturer's storage directly to you. This option can shorten the shipment times nearly for months and you can get your packs in a week after the production is completed.
The Express shipment option is the most expensive option among all other methods but we are extremely sorry about the current situation and covering all extra costs and you can be sure that you will not need to take any extra actions or be charged in any circumstances.
We have an agreement in place to ship our goods with agreed prices but we are not 100% sure how the shipment process will be at the time of our shipment and afraid of the world’s situation due to increasing covid cases and supply chain issues can raise the prices.
Shipment Schedule
We hope the card cutting process will end in the middle of January, then the packs will be assembled. It may take a week to assemble all the packs. According to this schedule we will start shipping the packages in the end of January or the early February. If we are able to ship them with Express DHL shipment, you will get your packs approximately in a week, at the middle of February.
But if we had to choose the freight or air shipments, these schedules can be delayed as well. We will keep updating you on the shipment matter for each country in the next few days.
What comes next?
So, we are having a more hands down approach on the manufacturing side to finish the production of the expansion packs and the 3rd deck of the base game. Then we will prepare them for the shipment and send them to you as soon as possible. This unexpected delay hurt us from the depth of our hearts. Again, we are truly sorry about this bad news but we can assure you we are working to solve them as much as we can.
And from now on we will be posting an update each Friday for a couple of weeks. We will be updating you in detail about the progression of the production.
During this time, we excitedly continue working on new projects to welcome the new year. We are eager to show them to you but first, we have a quest to deliver Board Royale as fast and best as possible to you.

Production & Shipment Status, Board Royale Digital Announcement

Hey there Mighty Survivors,
We hope you are doing great and getting ready for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays that will be full of amazing board game nights. November came with some good and some sad news. Unfortunately, this sad news includes the delay in the shipments. On the other hand, we have some exciting announcements, as well. If you are ready, let’s begin!
Production Status
As we have informed you in the last update, the productions of the boxes have been completed. The next steps in the production line were the printing of the cards and the production of the plastic trays.
Tray production:
The plastic tray production is still continuing but it’s about to finish. We are using a new, more durable material for the trays. Here is how the new Base Game tray looks like:

Card production:
Now, this is where we have started to face some problems that postponed production. Our manufacturer was experienced in poker playing card production and their card cutting systems were designed for white-bordered cards.
There is a difference between white-bordered card cutting and designed card cutting. White-bordered card cutting is simple. You cut them with a single blade and then round the corners. Little blade slips don’t create a big error. But edge-to-edge designed card cutting is much more complex. Cards with different designs can be cut side by side and even an extremely little blade slip, can cause HUGE errors.
To prevent that, a two-parted cutting method should be used. The first cut should separate different cards with big gaps. Then, all the cards must be cut again to remove these big gaps. And want to give best we can offer so we have plenty of options to pick.
We had 3 roadmaps on the way;
1)Change our card designs in a way to have the same single color frame around it.
We do not like that design language
2)Accept the slight mistakes as they are low probability and even it happens it is barely noticeable
We do not accept any probability of mistake that can affect our product quality
3)We could take a step back redesign all our printing templates and give more padding with our own design language, find a cutting house that would not only separate the cards but also trim all around them, and while doing that preserve our quality requirements. This would mean less output from the same paper, the whole redesign of the assembly line and packaging systems.
Even though this would cost more and take more time, we had to take this route.
This is a sad announcement for all of us to make but this arrangement, unfortunately, costs us nearly a month.
The new card production schedule is expected to be finalized in 2 weeks and then the packaging process will begin. We expect whole items to be completed and ready to be shipped out to warehouses around the world at the beginning of December.
We are truly sorry for this problem. With the experience we gained last campaign we’ve been expecting to overcome better but unfortunately, mass manufacturing always has new challenges for us. We want you to know that we are learning and getting better at what should we look into at our production.
Shipment Predictions
In light of these recent delays, all the estimated shipping times were postponed for nearly a month. We are researching every possible way including the air and express shipment to bring your goods before the holiday season. If we can’t make a way to ship the goods through express shipment then expected timelines are as follows:
- The Europe warehouses will receive the packs by mid-December hopefully and start shipping right away.
- We expect the US and Canada shipments to arrive in early January.
- Asia and Australia shipments will take longer and may arrive towards the end of January and for some countries early February.
We will announce which countries will be in the "rest of the world" section and basically will receive their packs with express shipments from Turkey through DHL in mid-December.
Again we are deeply sorry to announce this delay to the dearest survivors. But in the end, we believe transparency and honesty are key pillars for us and we treat all of us as we want to be treated by other projects. So that we want to inform you in advance and with full details. And hopefully, we will have a smooth delivery process without any unexpected news in logistics. So the predictions are based on the best possible situations for now. We will keep you informed as soon as possible.
Digital Board Royale Game Is On The Way!
While we are working on TTS and other digital versions we started getting excited about the 'what if' moment! And it turned out a brand new and refreshing turn! Well, this time it's getting more different.

Board Royale Duels Concept Art
“Board Royale Duels” is a digital game where you will face real players in fast-paced combat where you will be using cards to defeat your opponent. “Board Royale Duels” is built upon the themes of Board Royale but we are aiming to offer a highly different experience.
Each player will be using a set of cards that will expand and level up as you play.
We are planning to make “Board Royale Duels” free-to-play for everyone. There will be some cosmetic in-app purchase systems that will you be able to customize your character. It will start as a mobile game but our initial plan is to bring it to the PC as soon as possible after mobile launch and enable the cross-play across platforms.
At Arvis Games, making digital games is another region where we can bring the Arvis ideals of creating memory-worthy” experiences. “Board Royale Duels” is our first entry point to the digital games and hopefully many more will follow. We have built a small but truly remarkable team for Board Royale Duels. Please let us know what kind of games you would like to see from this team.
